#0926.N2 Matsuo Tea Garden from Nagasaki Tamaryokucha Asatsuyu

An early picking of the prized asatsuyu cultivar tea leaves from tea farmer Matsuo Masatoshi's tea garden. This cultivar is called a "natural gyokuro" because of the naturally rich sweetness and deep umami.

Carefully cultivated with fresh tea shoots shaded under rice straw, it develops an exceptional flavor and aroma. With each sip, the natural sweetness of the tea leaves and the gentle fragrance imparted by the straw shading spread across the palate, leaving an elegant and lingering finish.

This award-winning tea has been recognized at the Japanese Tea Award and is also served aboard the luxury cruise train Seven Stars in Kyushu, a testament to its outstanding quality.
